The CPS team has published in International Journal of Pharmaceutics an article entitled '(E, E)-farnesol and myristic acid-loaded lipid nanoparticles overcome colistin resistance in Acinetobacter baumannii'. In this work, they have demonstrated how colistin's effectiveness against resistant Acinetobacter baumannii was significantly improved using lipid nanoparticles loaded with myristic acid and farnesol (a terpenol)—a potential game-changer in the fight against antibiotic resistance!
