The PCS team is happy to welcome Zhongze Shi.
Zhongze is a first-year Master's student at Université Paris Cité, specializing in Frontier Chemistry. He is completing a two-month internship in the team. During this internship, he is working on the synthesis of photomodulable fluorescent molecules, in collaboration with a doctoral student from the team. His project focuses more specifically on the synthesis of curcuminoid-BF₂ derivatives, in order to explore their photomodulation properties through site-directed photooxidation.
